LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Alice Marie Rowland Allen, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born June 19, 1937, in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Erving Ernest Rowland and Mary Inez Alexander Rowland and was the wife of the late Clarence J. Allen.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her son, Eric Allen (Nida) of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Sharon Allen Snouffer (Curt) of Fort Lawn, SC, and Valerie Bouthiller (Ted) of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Glen McKendree, and Ted Bouthiller, Jr.; two great-grandchildren; Michaela McKendree, and Charlotte Bouthiller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Sandra Mahar; her grandson, Timothy McKendree; and her sister, Elaine Cordes.
