LANCASTER, SC - Mr. Alfred Eugene "Buster" Bass, age 75, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Novant Health-Presbyterian Main. He was born December 10, 1942 in Charlotte, NC, a son of the late Travis Andrew Bass and Dorothy Crump Bass and is the husband of Glenda Cornett Bass. Buster was co-owner of P & B Electrical and the owner of Sassy Chassis. He enjoyed dirt track and drag racing and building the cars. He was a loving husband and father. Buster was a devoted Christian and very active member of Covenant Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Care Ministry Team, Communion Team, an usher and a greeter.

Buster is survived by his wife of 56 years, Glenda Bass; son, Robert Eugene Bass and his wife, Connie Beeler Bass, beloved grandson, Bradley Bass, and son, Ronald Edward Bass; In addition, Debbie Sechrist and her husband, Billy, with Jason Sechrist, Matthew Sechrist, Joseph Sechrist and David Beasley and his wife Jana; also a brother, Roger Dale Bass; and a sister, Emily Haney.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Bass will be 3:00 pm Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Covenant Baptist Church, 165 Craig Manor Rd., Lancaster, SC by Rev. Jim Osteen and Dr. Bert Welch. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm in the church fellowship hall.
