INDIAN LAND, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Alberta Helen Sloop Draper, age 77, of 15916 Legend Oaks Court - Sun City, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born December 30, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Raymond Sloop and Ester Young Sloop and was the wife of Joseph L. Draper. Mrs. Draper was a homemaker and of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Draper is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Draper of the home, 2 sons, Mike Draper and his wife Nancy of Rock Hill, and Joel Draper and his wife Karyn of Alpharetta, GA, and 2 grandsons, Brendan and Jackson Draper. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Draper will be 3:00 pm Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill with inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 310-B Bennett Center Drive, Greer, SC 29650.
