Albert
Armonda
March 25, 1937 – July 31, 2019
Albert James Armonda (3/25/1937-7/31/19), died at home in Fort Mill, SC. He is survived by 6 children and 11 grandchildren. A private ceremony will be announced. Al was the oldest of three children, born to Rocco and Freida (Duman) Armonda in Chicago's Little Italy on Taylor Street. His father migrated to the US from Italy at the dawn of the 20 th century. Al paid his way through college and post-graduate school by working as a laborer in the very construction projects that changed the Chicago highway infrastructure. After graduating from Loyola Law School in 1962, Al began his professional career as an Assistant States Attorney and Public Defender in Cook County, Chicago and in 1968 transitioned to Criminal Defense consul. Al purchased The Bayshore Restaurant in Williams Bay Wisconsin, from 1978 until bankruptcy in 1992. He left Wisconsin in 2004 migrating to South Carolina, and eventually the town of Ft Mill.
Al's passions included driving sports cars for which the 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby was his pride and joy.
As a result of Al's legacy, his children have aspired to be better people in the service of others, living honorably, and treating everyone with respect.
