LIBERTY HILL, SC ~ Mrs. Agnes Catledge Hilton Cauthen, age 92, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1931, in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Carroll Catledge and Ella Poston Catledge. Mrs. Cauthen was preceded in death by her two husbands, Joe Albert Hilton and Ray "Buck" Cauthen.  Mrs. Cauthen was a hairdresser and seamstress.  She loved to cook, bake, and spend time with family. Mrs. Cauthen was a member at Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Cauthen is survived by two sons, Jackie Hilton, and Danny Hilton; two grandchildren, Jason Hilton (Dana), and Chandra West (Kelly); five great grandchildren, Alexis, Riles, Chase, Hunter, and Ryan; great great grandchild, Jackson Hilton; and three brothers, Larry Catledge, rob Catledge, and John Catledge.

Mrs. Cauthen was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Albert Hilton, and Ray "Buck" Cauthen; her parents; two daughters-in-law, Deborah "Debbie" Boone Hilton, and Deborah "Debbie" Faile Hilton; a grandson, Joseph Hilton; four brothers, Paul Catledge, Hubert Catledge, Hazel Catledge, and Tom Catledge; and two sisters, Linda Catledge Payne, and Carolyn Catledge McManus.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Cauthen will be 3:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
