LANCASTER, SC.........Mr. Huey Knight, age 71, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at his home. He was born February 24, 1944 in Lancaster, a son of the late Hazel Huey Knight and Sarah Elfreda Vick Knight and was the husband of the late Helen Diane Stogner Knight. Mr. Knight enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and race cars. He loved working on cars and driving the wrecker for the Lancaster and Carolina Motor Speedway. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and attended Springhill Baptist Church.

Mr. Knight is survived by two sons, Dennis Huey Knight and his wife, Carla and Jeffrey Mark Knight and his wife, Chloe both of Lancaster; a daughter, Jennifer Knight Burrack and her husband, Joshua of Irmo; and three grandchildren, Lane Knight, Morgan Knight and Natalie Burrack.

Mr. Knight was preceded in death by a brother, Hazel Kenneth "Ken" Knight.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Knight will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Springhill Baptist Church by Rev. Brad Threatt, Rev. Jesse Adams and Rev. Shawn Macy.

Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday evening, September 28, 2015 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and other times at his home.
